Obtain permission from ThermoFisher

To obtain the Linux cluster version of SEQUEST from Yates lab, you first need to get the approval of the company that holds the commercial license to the SEQUEST software (ThermoFisher corporation). There is no formal process for doing that; your best bet is to contact your ThermoFisher rep, and ask her/him to allow you to get the software from us. Another option is to contact or have someone contact John Nemmers (our sales manager). He has given his approval many times, and usually knows what needs to be done, unlike a rep who may not be entirely familiar with the process. In any case, the only thing we in Yates lab need is a letter or an e-mail confirming that Thermo is OK with you getting SEQUEST from us.

Once you have the OK from Thermo, I will e-mail you a link and a password to download the SEQUEST executables (either 32 or 64 bit), as well as configuration files, sample files, example files, etc.
